Thank you to all that participated in Greek Week 2008.
Greek Week 2008 was a great success. We were able to raise $202.00 which has been donated to Must Ministries. The donated and purchased food items have been dropped off.
Below is a picture of all items purchase to help those that are less fortunate. Once again we would like to thank all those that participated to help make this a great success.
Life Greeks Host Weeklong Philanthropic Event
Proceeds Benefit MUST Ministries
What:
Members of the Life University Greek Community are gearing up for a week of fun, excitement and entertainment — all to benefit families in crisis in Marietta, Smyrna and Canton/Cherokee county communities.
When:
Where:
Why:
Greek Week was developed to create spirit and unity within the Greek community while working towards a common goal of supporting MUST Ministries. The Greek community and works together to show support towards the community by raising monetary donations, putting on clothing and canned food drives and by increasing overall awareness for those not as fortunate as others. Several students, who are members of the university's fraternity and sorority chapters, participate in Greek Week. Throughout the year, these students also devote community service hours to local causes and support a variety of philanthropic organizations.
